Wes is in surgery… again

Wesley went under the knife at 3 pm, an hour earlier than we expected. It turns out they are leaving his plates in and just “revising his scar” - which is actually really exciting for us. Wesley’s scar is still noticeable, but it looks great. I can’t wait to see what it looks like now. This is Wesley’s third surgery in six months… it’s old hat to him, but I’m climbing the walls. He has the most amazing doctor, and the staff here at Children’s are incredible. I know he’s well taken care of. Aaron keeps telling me to pray and relax.

Wes had me take a picture of his scar while we were waiting in pre-op. He wants to do a “before and after” comparison.
